Mierzwa Construction is committed to transparency and fairness regarding cancellations and refunds. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be issued.
Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel scheduled services by providing written notice to Mierzwa Construction.

Cancellations made thirty (30) days or more in advance of the scheduled project start date may be eligible for a refund.

Cancellations made less than thirty (30) days before the scheduled start date are not eligible for a refund.
Refund Eligibility
If a cancellation qualifies under this policy:

Refunds may be issued only for amounts paid for work not yet performed.

Any costs already incurred — including but not limited to materials, permits, design work, labor, mobilization, administrative costs, or third-party fees — will be deducted from the refund amount.

No refunds will be issued for work that has already begun or been completed.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable, regardless of cancellation timing:

Deposits used to secure scheduling or materials

Custom or special-order materials

Permit, inspection, or application fees

Labor or services already performed
Project Delays
Delays caused by weather conditions, material shortages, supplier delays, site conditions, or circumstances beyond the Company’s control do not constitute grounds for a refund. Project timelines may be adjusted as necessary without refund or penalty.
Method of Refund
Approved refunds will be issued using the original method of payment, in accordance with the policies of our payment processor (such as Wix Payments). Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
Dispute Resolution
If you believe a refund has been processed incorrectly, you must notify Mierzwa Construction in writing within ten (10) business days of the refund determination. We will review and respond promptly.
Policy Updates
Mierzwa Construction reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will apply to future services and will be effective upon posting to our website.
